Ben Ihde

MS-STEP (2018)

While earning his Bachelor of Science degrees in physics and astrophysics at the University of Minnesota, Ben discovered a love of leadership in innovative groups, and a drive to improve the world through technological and individual-level advances. At the Humphrey School, he was a student in the Master of Science - Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy program, with a minor in Management of Technology. He is the project manager of the community solar projects in the Chan lab, and uses his physics background to bolster the team's mathematical modeling.

In his free time, Ben enjoys rock climbing, science-fiction novels, and board games.
